The technical requirements of the new classification represent a fundamental change in products
These two families join the PVC cables that have already obtained the Eca classification.
It has been hard work. The technical requirements of the new classification represent a fundamental change in products, changing not only the raw materials used but also the construction and geometry of the cables.
Our commitment to provide cables for every day and for life has motivated us greatly to achieve this as early on as possible in order to give our customers plenty of time to adapt to the deadline for the marketing of cables used in construction without CPR classification, on July 1st, 2017.
The RZ1-K (AS) 0.6/1kV CPR Cca-s1B, d1, a1 and H07Z1-K (AS) CPR B2ca-s1a, d0, a1 wires will form two new families, different from to the current ones. In addition to the marking, which will include CPR, the labelling, in compliance with regulatory information requirements, will help identify and differentiate this product from non-CPR cables. In compliance with the CPR requirements the declaration of performance (DoP) is available on our website.
